Shirley Ann Greenhaw Sieckenius of Uvalde went to be with Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the age of 80 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.

She was born in Blanco, Texas, to Jarl and Sibyl Greenhaw.

She is survived by two sons, Will and wife, Stephanie, Shane and wife Amy, daughter Holly and husband Kevin Gunter of Uvalde, one brother Jerry Greenhaw and wife Susan, sister-in-law Zoe Greenhaw of Blanco; 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her late husband of 57 years, Bill, and her brother James Greenhaw of Blanco.

She loved serving the Lord and was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Uvalde for over 50 years. Her husband lovingly referred to her as "Honey," and when her first grandchild came along the name stuck and she has been known as "Honey" by everyone since. She raised generations of Uvalde's children through her in-home daycare. She loved spending time with her family on the rivers and in Rockport.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 am at  Hillcrest Cemetery, north of highway 90.
