1 tree planted in memory of Rose
Stephens Brook
March 17, 2021 3:57 PMMom is truly gratified to have trees planted in her honor. As children, my sister & I helped Mom & Dad plant over 5000 pine trees in Miss.
At the time, I hated every 1 of those trees; but lately it has become a proud achievement.
Fortunately, Stephanie was able to get here in time to comfort her, to tell her that we were alright & she could let go.
The years my folks spent in Uvalde were the best years they ever had.
The last 8 years of Mom's life were the only time in all her years that she was an independent woman, living an independent life. It doesn't get any better than that.
I want to thank my Mom's friends for being her friends & to thank all of those who actually did help in making her life better during the very trying time of the past year.
A big "thank you" to those people.

March 11, 2021 10:46 PMWhat a dear lady she was. What a pity her situation had her passing away without her friends being able to visit. She was loved by so many whom she left with such wonderful memories. An obituary simply can’t describe the life she lived, her accomplishments, and the many lives she touched.
