Roger Bryron Nelson of Uvalde passed away on August 9, 2020 at his residence at the age of 69. He was born on September 6, 1950 in Uvalde to Mons Nelson and Eva Helme.
He married Lari Sims in Uvalde on April 12, 1974.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years of Uvalde; daughters, Jodi Navin and husband, Patrick of San Antonio; sisters, JoAnn Davis of Rocksprings and Brenda Brown of San Antonio; grandchildren, Brynn Navin and Byron Navin; niece, Jamie Akin of San Angelo; and nephews, Tim Brown and wife, Roxanne of San Antonio; and John Morgan Davis of Rocksprings; great nephews, Barrett Brown and Reeve Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A private family graveside service will be held.
