Ricardo Rodriguez

In the early morning of February 27, 2023, our brother, Ricky, was called home by our Lord to be with his parents, Isabel & Andres, and siblings, Ofelia, Andres Jr., Jesus, Valeriano Sr., and Reynaldo. He was an awesome brother, a friend, and a fantastic person.

He was born on July 31, 1954, in Sabinal, Texas to Isabel Davis and Andres Rodriguez.

His life was dedicated to doing the best he could for others, including his students.  He was an educator for over forty years and truly loved what he did.  His job as an educator and  Director of Special Education helped him understand the many different needs of all students regardless of their status.  He will be missed by all, and we feel blessed for all he did for us all. Rest in Peace brother, rest in peace.

He is survived by his sisters, Antonia Contreras and Eloisa Munoz both of Sabinal; brother, Johnny Rodriguez of Sabinal; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Sabinal.
