Nelda Saunders

Nelda Irene Riffe Saunders went to be with the Lord in her heavenly home early Sunday Morning, June 7, 2020.Nelda was LIVING at Hilltop Village in Kerrville, Tx at the time of her passing. She transistioned very peacefully into her heavenly home.  Nelda was born on September 8, 1929 to Lewis Harvey Riffe and Lola Nelda McGuire. She was the eldest of 5 children and help rear all of them. Nelda will be reunited with the love of her life, Charles "Charlie" F. Saunders, Jr.. Nelda will also be reunited with Bobby J. Saunders, and Larry Saunders plus we all sent with her a special message to her greatgandson Nicholas Maltby. plus her   parents, grandparents,, sisters Joyce and Margaret and one brother, Edgar. .Nelda is survived by one brother, Roland Neal Riffe; Claudette, Deer Park, Tx; Peggy Lancaster;,Shelby:, Utopia, Tx and Chase Saunders , San Antonio,Tx. and several grandchildren, greatgrandchildren and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.. Nelda and Charlie lived in Kingsville Tx and Ricardo, Tx  until 1998. They moved to Utopia, Tx where she and Charlie met many new friends and spent time in retirement. Nelda was an interior decorator by trade and by hobby/business she loved doing upholestry and working with draperies, Nelda was always helping family and friends when they needed a helping hand, She will be deeply missed by all. .Her visitation services are Friday June 12, 5 to 8 P M. at the Rushing, Estes, Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal.  Her Funeral Services will be June 13, 2020 at 2 PM in Utopia, Tx at the Utopia Baptist Church with Graveside Services following.
