Maybelle Paradeaux

Maybelle Paradeaux passed away peacefully in her home in Luling TX on Monday, November 28th, 2022 at 88 years of age.  She was born on January 5th, 1934 to Henry and Annabelle Cook in Knippa TX.

Maybelle married Will Paradeaux on October 31st, 1952 in Uvalde.

She attended school in Knippa. She worked as head teller and assistant vice president for First State Bank in Uvalde for 30 years. Maybelle was a proud pastor’s wife. She and her husband Will served in the ministry in the First Christian Churches of Del Rio and Luling TX.

Maybelle Paradeaux is survived by husband Will Paradeaux, sons Michael Paradeaux, Jerry Paradeaux, Slade Paradeaux, and daughter Marti Brende, she was blessed with a large family including many beautiful nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Maybelle is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Annabelle Cook, and her four sisters, Clara, Helen, Annalee, and Louise.

A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Uvalde on Thursday, December 1st, 2022 at 2:00pm.  A celebration of life memorial service will take place at the First Christian Church in San Marcos TX on Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at 2:00pm.

Flowers for the Saturday service may be sent through “The Floral Studio” in San Marcos TX.
