Lisa Lamascus

Lisa Gayle LaMascus, 59, of Uvalde passed away on November 30, 2021. She was born on March 28, 1962 to parents, Kenneth and Sylvia LaMascus in Seymour, Texas.

Lisa was well known for her singing voice. She grew up singing with her mother and brother.  Lisa was a member of the First United Methodist Church and enjoyed participating in their Praise Band.

She is survived by her father, brothers-Steven (Kandace) and Randal (Marsha) and sister-in-law-Becky. She is also survived by three nieces, two great nieces and a great nephew.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, brother-David and sister-Karen. Also preceding her were her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Jewel Mowery and paternal grandparents, Jesse and Florence LaMascus as well as a great nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Rushing Estes Knowles Mortuary at 3:00 PM. The family requests in lieu of flowers, send a donation in Lisa’s memory to Kate Marmion Regional Cancer Center, 1095 Garner Field Road, Uvalde, Texas 78801 or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
