Linda Hanson

Linda Sue Gough Hanson passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Uvalde Health and Rehabilitation Center after a prolonged illness.  Linda was born in Alice, Texas on September 22, 1950.  Her parents were David and Lillian Gough.

Linda is survived by her son James Creech of Uvalde and sister, Terry Jo Gough of San Antonio, TX. The family would like to thank Linda’s very good friend, Susan Paradeaux of Uvalde, TX for her friendship to Linda and her help.  Linda is preceded in death by her parents David Gough and Lillian Bell Gough and her grandparents John and Ana Bell and Charles and Anita Gough.

Linda graduated from Uvalde High School in 1969.  She worked for many years in the family business, Gough’s Twix ‘N Teen.  She later worked at AAFES in Waco.  Returning to Uvalde, she enjoyed working at a plant nursery, a veterinary clinic and a pet boarding and grooming business. Linda loved animals.

There will be a private cemetery service in Uvalde.
