Kenneth Gordon Coleman, Jr. of Crystal City passed away on November 19, 2020 in Helotes, Texas at the age of 75.  Kenneth was born on August 7, 1945 to Kenneth Gordon and Wanda Bernice Lindsey in Crystal City, Texas. Kenneth married Bernadine Marie Fryar in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico on March 12, 1966.

In addition to being a working father and farmer, Kenneth was an active member of his community during his lifetime.  He served as Volunteer Fire Chief, Director of Zavala County ASC, Member of the Dimmit-Zavala County Farm Service Agency (FSA), President of the Crystal City Cemetery Association, Little League Coach, FFA Organization Volunteer, and 4-H Organization Volunteer.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 54 years Bernadine Marie Coleman of Crystal City, daughters Iona Elaine Coleman-Garcia (Rene) of Carrizo Springs, Frances Bernice Coleman-Britsch (Mark) of San Antonio, Becky Lea Coleman of Helotes, and Tonya Lauren Coleman of San Antonio; grandchildren, Coleman Steven Britsch, Wesle Gordon Britsch, and Ryan Ethan Garcia; sister Sharon Kay Coleman Dozier (Bill) of Uvalde, sister-in-law Patti Elizabeth Coleman (Ronnie) of Carrizo Springs; brothers-in-law Mike Fryar (Sandy) of Lytle, and James H. Fryar III (Aubrey) of Port Aransas, numerous great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and one brother, Ronald (Ronnie) Edgar Coleman.

Funeral services will be held at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel in Uvalde, Texas on Saturday November 28, 2020 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Edgewood Cemetery in Batesville, Texas.
