Jon Michael Biddick was born November 25, 1952, in Lakefield, Minnesota and passed away peacefully on May 2, 2022, in Uvalde, Texas.

Jon was a wonderful and loving husband who was crazy about his four children.  Jon loved with his whole heart and received love the same way from others.  Jon was always quick to lend a helping hand to those who needed it and generous to a fault.  Jon loved life and lived it to its fullest.  Jon passed away on his own terms and is flying high on eagle’s wings.  During Jon’s lifetime he was always considered by most to be a jack of all trades.

Early in Jon’s career, he worked alongside his construction business partner, Raul Sanchez, before taking a position with Carlisle and Carlisle Construction Co.  Jon later became a pipe salesman for Gensco, Inc. within their Farm and Ranch division prior to becoming a Sales Manager for Griffith Ford.  At the age of 62, Jon ended his working career at American Lumber and at that point truly began to live life by appreciating every moment and adventure that came his way.

For decades prior to and after retirement, Jon enjoyed spending time with both family and friends while relaxing along the banks of the Frio River and overseeing one of a kind Thanksgiving and 4th of July celebrations.  Jon also enjoyed entertaining guests, boating and fishing during his annual trips to the family cabin on Round Lake in Minnesota.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents Bruce Haines and Vivian Borsheim Biddick and his sister Marsha Edwards.  Jon is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kathy Osborne Biddick; sister, Barbara Lee Reedy and husband Jim, of Deming, New Mexico; brother, Todd Arthur Biddick and wife, Donna, of San Angelo, Texas; son, Blake Morgan Biddick and wife Kimberly, of Midlothian, Texas; daughter, Tomi Jo Hicks and husband, Travis, of Roswell, New Mexico; daughter, Sheri Lynn Howze and husband Scott, of Robstown, Texas; daughter, Reahshell Leigh Davis and husband Steven, of Leakey, Texas; step-daughter, Lichelle Rene Reyes and husband Dennis, of San Antonio, Texas; and step-son, Jack Marcus Chambers, of San Antonio, Texas.  Grandchildren, Landon Larsen, Ryland Larsen, Jackson Hicks, Madeline Hicks, Mason Hicks, Kathryn Hicks, Colton Howze, Jaxon Howze, Heather Wheatley and fiancé Brandon Duncan, Haley Wheatley and fiancé Dillon Shugart, Mason Wheatley, Angela Davis, Macie Kruse and husband James, great grandson, Jiraiya Shugart, very “special grands” Aly Zamora and Adan Zamora, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to Uvalde Hospice.
