Johnnie Ward

Johnnie Lynn Ward of Knippa, Texas passed away on January 4, 2022 at her residence at the age of 69.  She was born on October 29, 1952 in Lockhart, Texas to Granville and Mildred (Schulz) Dunaway.

She is survived by her sister, Pat Freitag and husband, Don of Uvalde; nieces and nephews, Billy Freitag of Uvalde, Carol Puga of San Antonio, Kevin Faglie of La Vernia, Kenneth Freitag of Uvalde and Tracie Wilson of Poteet; sister-in-law, Marsha Olsen of Kerrville; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary Ward; sister, Gail Faglie and nephew, Michael Faglie.

A memorial service will be held on Sat. March 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
