Jo Ann Fujimoto

Jo Ann Fujimoto, formerly of Uvalde, passed away on December 4, 2021, in Hilo, Hawaii at the age of 74.

Family and friends are invited to Celebrate Jo Ann on Sunday, January 9, 2022, from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Herby Ham Activity Center in Uvalde.

Mrs. Fujimoto was born on May 16, 1947, in Kohala, Hawaii and was married to Walter Fujimoto in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1969.

Jo Ann is survived by daughter Mindy Roberts & husband Cody of Uvalde; son Brent Fujimoto, wife Brandi and grandsons Brylan and Brayden of San Antonio; and daughter Cheryl Fujimoto of Arizona, grandsons Caiden & Maddox of Florida; sister Deborah Okubo, of Hawaii; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter, and her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Waichi Hiraoka.

Interment under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary
