Isaul is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 57 years Juanita Olivarez Garcia of Uvalde, and three children, Isaul Garcia Jr. of Edmond, Oklahoma, Melva Jean Harbin (husband Jay B. Harbin) of Georgetown, Texas, and Fernando Garcia of Del Rio, Texas.

Also survived by his siblings Irma E. Trevino of Linares, Mexico, Rosa Delia E. Martinez of Monterrey, Mexico, Alicia E. Guerrero of McKinney, Texas, Lazaro Espericueta of Linares, Mexico, Graciela Espericueta of Linares, Mexico. Luz Del Carmen Espericueta of Monterrey, Isidro Javier Espericueta of Monterrey, Concepcion G. Garza of Falfurrias, Texas, Cruzita Gudiel of Long Beach Calafornia, Maria Guadalupe Cruz of Illinois, Criselda G. Keas of Georgia and Noelia G. Marrow of Amarillo, Texas.

Isaul was a proud and devoted grandfather to Isaul Garcia III, Victoria Isabella Garcia, Sophia Arwen Garcia, Adrianna Valeria Garcia, Joaquin Alifonso Garcia, Jordan Bryant Harbin (fiancé Haley Hernandez), and Micah Jade Harbin.

Isaul spent his life providing for his family and friends.  There was never a "no" for those in need.  He was a true believer in giving and helping others, and always being quiet about his charitableness.

Isaul enjoyed spending time with his friends. He could always be seen at the Uvalde Golf Course passing time with friends, telling stories, and laughing. In his younger years, he loved his involvement with the Jaycees, the Holy Name, and the Knights of Columbus (4th-degree member), where he met his lifelong friends.

His family was his pride and joy.  He cherished spending time with family at the Frio Cielo Ranch or going to school events for his kids.  In later life, his grandchildren became his primary enjoyment.  He treasured the time he spent being with his grandchildren in church every Sunday morning, sitting in the same pew, at the same time.  He took them to pancake breakfasts afterward, enjoying their wide-eyed smiles.  One thing that will always be remembered is his encouragement and support for his children and grandchildren to succeed.  He could always be heard asking for "El Papilito" translating to "The Little Piece of Paper," revealing that one had accomplished one's goals.

Isaul worked hard every day of his life to provide for his family and instill hard-working ethics in his children.  Isaul's life was similar to others by being born to migrant worker parents and traveling the United States to retiring from the Frito-Lay Company in Uvalde.  While only obtaining an eighth-grade education, his hunger for being able to provide for his loved ones and his catholic faith allowed him to succeed.  At a very young age, he was pulled from school to provide for his family and endured many hardships, which expressed itself in his desire to help those in need.

Isaul's kindness, sense of humor, and quick wit allowed him to gain many lifelong friends who grew to become family. He lived a fullfilled life and will be dearly missed.
