Humberto Cuellar

Humberto H. Cuellar of Batesville passed away on October 18, 2021, at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 54. He was born on December 26, 1966, in Uvalde, Texas to Nieves and Gloria (Hernandez) Cuellar.

Mr. Cuellar is survived by his mother of Batesville; sisters, San Juana Sanchez of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Rosabel Rios and husband Jose Luis, Jr. of Batesville, Texas; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father; sister, Rebecca Diaz; and brother, Ruben Suarez Cuellar.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Batesville, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 22 at 12:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Uvalde, Texas

Interment will follow at Batesville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rolando Sanchez, Alejandro Sanchez, Gerardo Sanchez, Isidro Cantu, Jr., Pricilliano Mata, and Guillermo “Memo” Campos.
