Guadalupe Urbina

Guadalupe Mauricio Urbina of Uvalde passed away on April 19, 2020 at her residence at the age of 85.  She was born on October 12, 1934 in Eagle Pass to Jose and Luisa (Puente) Mauricio.

She married Alfredo Urbina on February 6, 1965 in Villa de Fuentes, Coahuila, Mexico.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years of Uvalde; sons, Juan Eduardo Castillo and wife, Alicia of Eagle Pass and Alfredo Urbina, Jr. of Uvalde; sisters, Maria Luisa Jimenez and Dolores Sambrano both of Eagle Pass; brothers, Jose Mauricio, Jr. and Francisco Mauricio both of Eagle Pass; daughter in law, Juanita Castillo of Eagle Pass; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jose Luis Castillo; sisters, Amalia Mauricio, Trinidad Ortiz and Maria de Refugio Roque.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Alfredo Urbina, Alex Urbina, Juan Castillo, Eduardo Castillo, Flavio Castillo and Luis Castillo
