Guadalupe Sandoval

Guadalupe F. Sandoval of Sabinal, Texas passed away on May 27, 2021 at Medina Community Hospital in Hondo, Texas at the age of 90.  She was born on January 21, 1931 in Sabinal, Texas to Catarina (Lopez) and Porfirio Flores. She married Juan Antonio Sandoval on May 17, 1951.

She is survived by her four daughters, Beatrice Sandoval Garza and husband J.R. of Houston, Texas, Dora Dominguez of Hondo, Texas, Sandra Sanchez and spouse Shushawnie Green of Humble, Texas and Diana Hernandez and husband Rogelio of Richmond, Texas ; two sons, Juan A. Sandoval Jr. of Uvalde, Texas, and Daniel Sandoval and wife Adelina of Hondo, Texas; twelve grandchildren, Lindsey Sandoval, Tiffany Sandoval, Claudia Dominguez, Steven Ray Dominguez, Amanda Connick and husband Travis, Andrea Ortega and husband Joseph, Anna Sandoval, John Anthony Sanchez, Raymond Angel Sanchez, Alejandra Hernandez, and Rogelio Hernandez III; five great- grandchildren, Aracely Iliana Rodriguez, Alexzander Rodriguez, Aniabella Nira, Arabella Connick, and Troy Connick; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, Catarina and Porfirio Flores; husband, Juan Antonio Sandoval; daughter, Herlinda Sandoval; brothers, Porfirio Flores, Jr., Camilo Flores, and Alfonso Flores; sisters, Betsy Laughlin, Helen Ybarra, Elvira Alejandro, Juanita Pruneda, and Julia Reyna.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 12:00PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sabinal, Texas with interment to follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery.

Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be J.R. Garza, John Anthony Sanchez, Raymond Angel Sanchez, Rogelio Hernandez III, Shushawnie M. Green, Rogelio Hernandez Jr., and Alexzander Rodriguez.
