Esperanza Ybarra

Esperanza J. Ybarra of Uvalde passed away on June 25, 2022, at her residence at the age of 79.  She was born on December 16, 1942, in Uvalde, Texas to Esteban Ybarra and Martha J. Meza.

She is survived by her sons, Armando Ramos, Andrew Ramos and companion, Stephanie Camacho, Juan Antonio Trevino and wife, Dora and Salvador Ramos and companion, Anna Navarro all of Uvalde; 8 grandchildren; Franky Sosa, Isabel A. Ramon, Kesley Ramos, Jacinto Trevino, Marisabelle Ramos, Matthew A. Ramos, Tiffany Trevino and Carolyn M. Ramos;1 great grandchild, Gabriel Jimenez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sylvia Trevino; son, David Ramos; grandson, Salvador Ramos; 1 baby sister; and brothers, Eusevio Mesa and Robert Ybarra.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Ramos, Jacinto Trevino, Jacob Alaniz, Diego Galindo, Eric Madrid, Andy Mata, Sr., Jeremi Alaniz, Andrew Ramos and Salvador Ramos.
