Elizabeth Ray

Elizabeth Ann Ray of San Antonio, Texas formerly of Crystal City, Texas passed away on January 30, 2021 at her residence in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 103. She was born on December 23, 1917 in Paola, Kansas to Ira and Edna (Smith) Cribbs. Elizabeth married Melvin Darrell Ray in Crystal City, Texas on June 7, 1940.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Adams and husband Sam of San Antonio, Texas and Helen Copeland of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren, Rae Raiford and husband Aubrey of Center Point, Texas, Lisa Copeland and husband Lyn of San Antonio, Texas, and Stacy Bishop and husband Les of New Braunfels, Texas; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, Ira and Edna (Smith) Cribbs; husband, Melvin Darrell Ray; and great-grandson, Patrick Copeland.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 06, 2021 at 1:00PM the Hillcrest in Uvalde, Texas.
