Elena Temores

Elena Ruiz Temores of Uvalde passed away on November 9, 2019 in Uvalde at the age of 65.  She was born on May 18, 1954 in Batesville to Manuel Ruiz and Margarita Vasquez.

She is survived by her daughters, Selene Estrada of Corona California and Magaly Atkinson and husband, Richard of Batesville; sons, Alex Temores of Uvalde and Joby Fraire of California; sisters, Susan Vasquez of Batesville, Rosa Kuntz of Manteca, California and Enedina Cruz of Uvalde; brothers, Carlos Ruiz of Batesville, Manuel Ruiz, Jr. of San Antoio and Ruben Ruiz of Abilene; grandchildren, Antonio Estrada, III, Samantha Estrada, Chelsea Frayre, Joby Frayre, Crystal Frayre, Koby Frayre, Christopher Temores, Michael Atkinson, Kevin Atkinson, and Andrew Atkinson; great grandchildren, Jonathan Moran, Julian Moran and Joby Angelo Frayre.

She is preceded in death in by her parents and sister, Maggie Ruiz Hernandez.

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
