Donna left a profound imprint on the lives of so many people..she listened well, loved fiercely, and was the best encourager to the people she loved. She was full of life, laughter and love and she made this world a better place. She had such a passion for her family, and seeing them connected and together, and she was the “favorite” for so many. Donna loved music, whether it was playing her piano, listening to some of her classic rock, or losing herself in a worship song. She had a strong relationship with God, and leaned heavily on Him in her final years. Many times she could be found in tears as she read through her Jesus Calling devotional each morning, and her relationship with God deepened over the last year. She was a truly beautiful and unique soul, and though her family will be grieving her absence they are also celebrating the assurance of spending eternity together one day.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at Rushing Estes Knowles funeral home on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 3pm with a reception to follow at the Family Center.
