Antonio Argueta Flores of Uvalde passed away on March 14, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 90. He was born on April 28, 1930 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Luz Flores and Maria De Refugio Argueta.
He is survived by his wife, San Juanita (Almeida) Flores of Uvalde; son, Daniel Almeida and wife, Laura of Uvalde; brothers, Jose Guadalupe Flores of Hondo; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jose Flores, Rafael Flores and Sacramento Flores; and sisters, Odulia Gonzalez and Virginia Hernandez
Visitation will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Almeida, Daniel Almeida Jr., Eduardo Ramirez, Arturo Tamez, Angel Gonzales Jr., and Arnulfo Quiroz.
