Anita Penaloza of Uvalde passed away on June 14, 2020 at her residence at the age of 95. She was born on July 7, 1924 in Uvalde to Santos Flores and Jesusa Cadena.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Gina Orlando and Jude Ortiz; great grandchildren, Jesse Oswald and Christopher Geisser; daughter in law, Nicolina Ortiz.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Antonio Penaloza and son, Raul Ortiz.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery
