Alejandro Diaz Duran

Alejandro Diaz Duran of Uvalde passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 53 at Ft. Duncan Regional Medical Center in Eagle Pass. 

He was born on November 16, 1969, in Los Angeles, California to Irene (Diaz) and Rogelio Duran. 

He is survived by his mother Irene Diaz of Uvalde; two daughters, Megan Duran Zuniga and husband, Christopher and Marial Duran Zuniga and husband, Armando all of California; sister, Mary Jackqueline Ramos of Uvalde; brother, Juan R. Duran and wife, Lucy of Marble Falls; two grandchildren, Mateo Zuniga, and Isabella Zuniga; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his father Rogelio Duran; nephew, Michael A. Ramos; two uncles, Joe Diaz and Gabriel Diaz.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 and will begin at 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. 

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
