Wyatt Hubbard Heard

Wyatt Hubbard Heard, 84, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on August 10, 2025, at his residence.

He was born on August 7, 1941, in Uvalde, Texas to Mary Estella (Steigerwald) and Sidney Sterling Heard.

He married Annell Knox on June 26, 1962, in Blair, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife, Anell Heard of 63 years, of Uvalde; two sons, Sidney Sterling Heard and wife, Marty of Bryan College Station and Colin Jeffery Heard and wife, Lacey of Uvalde; two sisters, Nikki Kindle and Genny Robertson both of Houston; four grandchildren, Wyatt Heard, Sara Heard, Calvert Heard, and Rebecca Heard.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

Interment will follow at Heard Cemetery in Regan Well, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Margaret Skillern and Julie Wolf
