William Ruark
June 27, 1919 — February 13, 2012
William Marvin Bill Ruark of Uvalde passed away on February 13, 2012 at his residence. He was born on June 27, 1919 in Horsecave, Kentucky to Joseph and Nora Hodges Ruark. He married Marjorie Hobbs on September 8, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife of 66 years two daughters, Sue Ruark and husband, Mike Berry of Uvalde and Virginia Bingham and husband, Ron of Rio Frio four grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Ruark and John T. Ruark and a halfbrother, Wilson Hodges. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 1:30 PM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Berry Garland Armstrong Robert Hobbs Robert Rowland Jerome Gold and Aubrey Paul Haynes.
