Ward Crockard

Ward O. Crockard of Uvalde passed away on March 19, 2018 in San Antonio at the age of 90. He was born on April 11, 1927 in Houston to Ralph Crockard and Lottie Lee Ward Crockard. He married Kathryn Taylor on June 8, 1957. He is survived by his wife of 60 years; three sons, Ralph Taylor Crockard of Uvalde; Colin Coy Crockard of San Antonio; and Coby Craig Crockard of Austin; two grandchildren, Cristin Pease and Hendrix Eagle Crockard; and three great-grandchildren, Sage Henson; Zayven Henson; and A'Mya Harris. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Goldye Gayle Crockard. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church with burial following in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Steve Peyton will officiate. Pallbearers will be Daymon Stotts; Lynn Stotts; Charlie Mendeke; Aurelio Mata; Ronnie Velasquez; and Robert Madden.
