Virlyn Boales

Virlyn Boales, 85, of Uvalde, died peacefully on July 4, 2021, at Uvalde Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Jan. 8, 1936, in Camp Wood, to Nona B. (Allison) and O.E. “Bud” Welch.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Boales of Uvalde; two sons, A. Kipp Boales and wife, Marcy, of Concan, and B. Todd Boales and wife, Cynthia, of San Antonio; four grandchildren, Trenton Kipp Boales and wife, Kimberly of Argyle, Trevor Dee Boales of Bridgeport, Strickland Boales, and Madeline Boales, both of San Antonio; great-grandson, Kaden Broyles of Argyle; twin sister, Shirlyn Hutchings and husband, Norman, of Las Vegas, Nevada, & numerous nieces & nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Sybil Sweeten and Lea Redden; three brothers, Ronnie Welch, Will Welch, and Aubrey Welch

A private memorial service will be held on Monday.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Vance Cemetery Association Inc., 11197 Ranch Road 335, Barksdale, Texas, 78828.
