Virginia Colvin Russell of Uvalde passed away on June 22, 2012 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 95. She was born on March 7, 1917 in Bartlett, TX to Reginald and Estelle Rutland Jones. She is survived by a son, Jim R. Colvin of Uvalde two grandchildren, James W. Colvin II and wife, Tracy of Uvalde and Raquel Colvin Dixon and husband, Kevin of Midland and four greatgrandchildren, Shelby Colvin James W. Colvin III Carly Rae Colvin and Brazos Colvin. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Kinard. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Rev. Mike Marsh will officiate.
