Tomasa Sanchez Luna, age 99 passed away on November 29, 2020 at her home in Jourdanton, Texas. She was born December 20, 1920 to Christina Selvara Sanchez and Juan Hernandez Sanchez in Knippa, Texas, she would attend The Catholic Church School in her early school years. After 8 years of dating, the day came for her to unite in marriage to Daniel Luna Sr. He picked her up in his Model T and went to the courthouse in Rocksprings, Texas to make it official on March 4, 1947. They soon started their family with the birth of their first son Daniel Luna Jr. followed by a daughter Soila (Sally) Zepeda and would suffer the loss of their infant son, later they welcomed their last child a daughter Christina (Tina) Reyes. Together they created their legacy in Rocksprings, Texas. She loved being a seamstress and making clothes for her children, family and friends. She loved being a wife, mother and later a grandmother, great grandmother and even great-great grandmother till her final days.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Juan and Christina Sanchez, 3 Sisters, 4 Brothers, her husband Daniel Luna Sr. her daughter in law Edelmira Luna, Granddaughter Delia Luna and Infant Angels.

She is survived by her children, Daniel Luna Jr. of Jourdanton, Soila (Sally) Zepeda (Luis A. Zepeda) & Christina (Tina) Reyes (Enrique J Reyes Sr.) all of San Antonio, 4 sisters, 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 6 great- great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She found pure joy in being around her family for they were her pride and joy. Her heart and was full and everyone knew by the smile on her face. Every year she looked forward to celebrating her birthday for which there were many and she would have all her family together at the same time. She was a Strong God-fearing Woman whose faith will proceed her to the Heavenly Gates to meet her Father in Heaven. Our Mother and Grandmother will be eternally missed.

Services are as followed:

December 10, 2020 @10AM @ Sacred Heart Catholic Church interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers Luis Zepeda, III, Enrique Reyes, Jr.,, Ernesto Reyes, Damian Zepeda, Ailberto Zepeda, and Daniel Luna, III.

Honorary pallbearers will be Augustine Flores, Jr. , Chad Kalisek, Ivan Gallardo, Roel Gonzalez, Roman Olivarez, Corporal Roy Anthony Gonzalez, Andres Zepeda, Ruben Salazar, Leon Peterson, Johnny Webb, Erik Webb, Hipolito Cavazos, Jr., and Augustine Flores, III
