Sulema Rodriguez of Batesville passed away on November 25, 2019 in Batesville at the age of 77. She was born on February 8, 1942 in Batesville to Nestor and Antonia (Canales) Rodriguez, Sr.
She is survived by her sisters, Lidia Rodriguez of San Antonio, Benita Luna and husband, Jose Francisco of Uvalde Elida Aguirre and husband, Alejandro of Batesville, Celia Perez of Los Angeles, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Desidoro Rodriguez, Nestor Rodriguez, Jr., and Berardo Rodriguez
A rosary will be held on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Batesville. Interment will follow at Batesville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Ramos, Nestor Rodriguez, III, Berardo “Alo” Rodriguez, Adam Miller, Frank Luna, Jr., Jimmie Luna, and Jude Luna.
