Steve Jasso

alignjustifySimon Steve Jasso of San Antonio, formerly of Uvalde, passed away on March 14, 2007 in Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 53. He was born on December 26, 1953 to Simon and Julia Jasso. He married Melissa Dedon on May 18, 2001 in New Roads, LA. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Jasso of Castroville; three sons, Jeffery Jasso; Jordan Jasso; and Justin Walker; numerous brothers and sisters; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Cabrera, Mario De Leon, Joe Garcia, Jim Gerrish, and Ralph Marines. Burial will be False River Memorial Park in New Roads, LA on Monday, March 19, 2007. Pallbearers in Louisiana will be Chris and Jacob Dedon, Jim Gerrish, Fred Dedon, Jr., Michael Lovelace, Jr., and Preston Lovelace. Steve was employed by H.E.B. for thirty-five years. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
