Sergio Martinez, 51, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on January 30, 2026, at Dallas Regional Medical Center, in Mesquite, Texas.
He was born on October 10, 1974, in Allende Coahuila, Mexico to Isamary (Zapata) and Jaime Martinez.
He is survived by his sister, Lupita Mejia and husband, Joe of Uvalde, brothers, Jaime Martinez and wife, Sandra, Deomar Martinez and wife, Dolores of California, Genaro Martinez, and Reynaldo Martinez and wife, Elida all of Uvalde.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Eddieberto Martinez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 2p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
