Santitos Diaz

Santitos Diaz of Uvalde passed away on August 16, 2021 at her residence at the age of 85.  She was born on November 7, 1935 in Spofford, Texas to Andres Bill and Juanita Talamantes.

She married Jose Angel Diaz in Uvalde, Texas on September 11, 1957.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years of Knippa; daughters, Bernice Valle of New Braunfels, Texas, Priscilla Griffith of Glenn Heights, Texas and Geraldine Rattler and husband, Charlie of Knippa, Texas; sons, Jose Angel Diaz, Jr. and wife, Delfina, Roland Diaz and wife, Mari all of Knippa, Texas and Efrain Diaz of Glenn Heights, Texas; 19 grandchildren 1 great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Templo Jehova Jira in Knippa, Texas.  Interment will follow at Knippa Lutheran Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Trey Diaz, Roland Diaz, Efrain Diaz, Isaac Diaz, Roland Diaz Jr., and  Jaden Rattler.
