Santiago Cruz

Mr. Santiago V. Cruz of Uvalde passed away April 15, 2007 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 88.

He was born November 7, 1918 in La Pryor to Juan Otilia Cruz.

He is survived by a daughter, Frances Perez husband, Gabriel of Uvalde; son, Mario Cruz of Uvalde; sister, Marina Pargas of Marana, Az.; brothers, Ramiro Cruz of Uvalde Armando Cruz of Con Can; daughters-in-law, Mary Cruz and Maria C. Isom; grandchildren, Oscar Cruz, Jr.; Denise Reyna; Gabriel Perez, Jr.; Jennifer Perez; Omar Cruz; Marisa Galassi; great-grandchildren, Robert Reyna, Jr.; Kristen Reyna; Gabriel Perez, IV; Jose Perez; Alec Perez; Angelica Rodriguez; Alexis Galassi; Christian Galassi; Kaden Galassi. He was preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe Cruz sons, Raul Cruz; Santiago Cruz, Jr. Oscar Cruz; brothers, Juan Cruz; Federico Cruz; sisters, Lily Cruz; Jesusita Arredondo; and Armandina Cruz.

A rosary will be held on Monday at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel at 7:00 pm.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 4:00 pm. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
