Ruben Hernandez of Uvalde passed away on March 16, 2023 at Methodist Specialty Transplant Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 63.
He was born on February 24, 1960 in Mathis, Texas to Josefina (Sandoval) and Rudy Hernandez, Sr.
He married Emilia Olivarez in Mathis on April 12, 1982.
He is survived by two daughters, Ruby Hernandez and Crystal Hernandez, and two brothers, Rudy Hernandez and Bobby Hernandez of Mathis.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Emilia Hernandez and parents.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
