Rosa Anaya

Rosa Lopez Anaya of Uvalde, Texas passed away on February 5, 2022 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 96.  She was born on August 30, 1925 in Taylor, Texas to Antonio and Guadalupe (Ramirez) Lopez

She is survived by her daughters, Eva Torres of Sabinal, Texas, Janie Gonzales and husband, Juan of Uvalde, Texas, Rosa Pacheco of San Antonio, Texas, Ramona Saiz of Santa Ana, Texas, Ruth Ann Wright and husband, Tony of Temple, Texas, and Susana Longoria Turman of DeRidder, Louisiana; sons, Crispin Saiz, Jr and wife, Alicia of Uvalde, Texas and Martin Saiz of Elkhart, Indiana; 42 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great-great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Crispin Falcon Saiz; second husband, Ismael Anaya; sons, Santiago Saiz, and Israel Saiz; grandsons, Israel Pacheco, Travis Guerrero, and Leo Gene Saiz; granddaughter, Josefa Torres; great granddaughter, Amber Rose Pacheco; great grandson, Jeremiah Saiz; 4 brothers, and 1 sister.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 5:30 p.m. followed by a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Leroy Saiz, Juan Gonzales, Jr., Arturo Torres, Arnulfo Torres, Christopher Wright, Roland Saiz, Edgar Sanchez, Jr. and Johnny Guerrero, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Ruiz, Gabriel Reyes, Jimmy Saiz, Benjamin Blanco, Jr., Joe Saiz,  Raul Munoz and Karol Saiz.
