Ronald Turner

Ronald Turner, 72, of Uvalde passed away on December 17, 2023, at Metro Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.

A memorial service will be held on January 21, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. 

He was born on June 27, 1951, in Hollandale, Mississippi to Gladys (Colleen) and Ronald Earl Turner. 

He married Guadalupe Castro on May 15, 1997, in Uvalde.

He is survived his wife of 27 of Uvalde; three daughters, Katie Turner of Uvalde, Tracy Turner of Bandera, and Rachel West of Baytown; two sons, Randall Turner of Uvalde and Cody Turner of Camp Wood; three sisters, Denise Hutter of Mont Belview, Diane Huntley of Livingston and Debbie Turner of Kansas; brother, Jerry Turner of Baytown; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Turner.
