Romana Olvera

Romana P. Olvera of Uvalde passed away at Amistad Nursing Home on November 13, 2016 at the age of 89. She was born on February 28, 1927 in Carrizo Springs to Marcial and Isabel (Perez) Olvera.
She is survived by her daughters, Lucy Kovacs and husband, J.C. of Sun City, Arizona, and Patty Stafford and husband, Randy of Nederland; sons, Homer Ledesma of Uvalde and Librado Ledesma of Carrizo Springs; sisters, Angie Rodriguez of Hoffman, Illinois and Elida Martinez of Cornelius, Oregon; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 5 sisters
Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
