Rolando Maldonado of Uvalde passed away on December 8, 2020 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 69. He was born on April 28, 1951 in Carrizo Springs to Atanacio and Manuela (Garcia) Maldonado.
He is survived by his sisters, Manuela Rodriguez of Fon du Lac, Wisconsin, Jesusa Delgado of Eagle Pass, Estella Valenzuela Dora Vargas both of Davenport, Iowa; and Letty Arredondo of Uvalde; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Paula Maldonado; and siblings, Vilma Valdez and Juan Maldonado.
Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A memorial mass will be held on January 9th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Batesville, Texas
