Rodolfo F. Rodriguez

Rodolfo “Bocho” F. Rodriguez, 78, of Sabinal, Texas passed away on November 28, 2023, at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born on March 18, 1945, in Sabinal, Texas to Victoria (Flores) and Cruz Rodriguez. 

He married Ramona Garcia in Sabinal, Texas on November 2, 1985.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years of Sabinal; two daughters, Rosa Aguilar of Uvalde and Lupita De Leon and husband, Gudalupe, Jr. of Sabinal; son, Robert Anthony Garcia of Sabinal; two brothers, Emencio Rodriguez of Sabinal and Ruben Rodriguez of Uvalde; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Juan Rodriguez, Pete Rodriguez, and Eloy Rodriguez; and three sisters, Maria Rodriguez, Andrea Arredondo, and Eloya Rodriguez.  

Visitation begins on Dec. 12 at 12 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Dec 13, 2023, at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church and interment will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.  

Pallbearers will be Andrew Garcia, Stephen Garcia, Joshua De Leon, Matthew De Leon, Christopher De Leon, and Guadalupe De Leon, Jr.
