Rodolfo C. Davila

Rodolfo “Rudy” Carrizales Davila, 60, of Uvalde, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 11, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 13, 1965, to Antonio and Seleta Davila of Pearsall, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Eddie, Clem, and Albert Davila; and nephew Kordero Davila.

Rodolfo is survived by his wife, Mary Davila; sons Rick Trevino (Jacqueline) and Rodolfo “Rudy” Davila (Adrianna), both of San Antonio; grandchildren Lillian and Jacob Trevino and Rodolfo “Rudy” Davila III. He is also survived by his brother Juan Antonio Davila of Laredo and sisters Juanita Davila Matta (Louis) of Pecos, A. Davila of Pearsall, and Lisa Davila Palomino (Frank) of Pearsall.

A proud Pearsall High School graduate (Class of 1983), Rodolfo earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from St. Mary’s University in 1987 and his Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990. He served the Uvalde community as a pharmacist with H-E-B for 34 years.

Rodolfo will be remembered for his lifelong service to his community, his devotion to family, and his witty sense of humor.
