Raymond Schaefer

Raymond Gilbert Schaefer of Uvalde passed away on June 12, 2016 at his residence at the age of 90. He was born on May 2, 1926 in Utopia to Albert Earl and Bertie (Guess) Schaefer. He is survived by his daughters; Ramona Jean Haby of Uvalde and Barbara Lou Arthur of Kerrville;7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Cason Schaefer; sister, Orene Clayton; brother, Pete Schaefer and son-in-laws, Kenneth Arthur and Kenneth Haby.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
