Raymond Harris

Mr. Raymond Lee Harris of Sabinal passed away February 12, 2007 in Medina Community Hospital in Hondo, Tx. at the age of 69. He was born November 18, 1937 in Freer, Tx. to Charles Mary Harris.

He married Betty Jo Fowler in Sabinal on Sept. 17, 1960.

He is survived by his wife Betty Jo of Sabinal; two daughters, Julie Aelvoet of San Antonio, Tx. Jeanie Finch husband, John of Denton, Tx.; two sisters, Charlene Salge husband, Cotton of Edna, Tx. Jeannie Lee Pfeil of Brownsboro, Tx.; brother-in-law, David Fowler wife, Bonnie of Sabinal; grandchildren, Jessica M. Aelvoet; Lori Howland husband, Jody; Melissa Aelvoet; Kara Finch Chaz Finch; one great-grandchild, Hailey Paige; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Sabinal. Interment will follow in Sabinal Cemetery. Rev. Monte Benson will officiate.

Pallbearers will be David Fowler, John Finch, Allen Salge, Ken Cave, Henry Karnei, John Latchford, Fred Pfeil, Jr. Cotton Salge.

Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Pugh, John Hall Charles McFarland.

Memorials may be made to The Sabinal EMS or to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
