aligncenterRay Lloyd Redden of Utopia passed away on February 27, 2007 in the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 75. He was born on October 16, 1931 in Ft. Grant, Arizona to William and Katharine McNair. He is survived by a daughter, Patty Rae Spence and husband, Kenneth of Sabinal; three sons, Bobby J. Hartman and wife, Marlene of Alaska; Ray Lee Redden of Placerville, CA; and Robert Lee Redden and Marie of Reno, Nevada; two sisters, Wilma Kindred and husband, Sammy of Quihi, TX and Wanda Neely of Castroville, TX; two brothers, his twin brother Roy Redden and wife, Shirley of Utopia; and Burton McNair of Huntsville, TX; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William McNair and Katharine Redden; stepfather, Paul Redden; three sisters, Wiliestell Howell, Betty Jo Schaefer, and Nadine Haby; and a brother, Crawford McNair. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 2, 2007, at 10:00 AM in Jones Cemetery. Rev. Jim Boyd will officiate.
