alignjustifyRaul Morales of Uvalde passed away on March 9, 2007 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 92. He was born on July 30, 1914 in Victoria, TX to Francisco and Juanita Martinez. He is survived by three nieces, Natividad Perez and husband, Rito, Sr. of Uvalde; Anita Garza of Uvalde; and Alicia Rocha and husband, Sostenes, Jr. of Castroville; two nephews, Juan Perez, Jr. and wife, Ernestina of Uvalde; and Francisco Perez and wife, Lydia of Uvalde; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Filomena Perez; brother, Domingo Morales; and nephew, Refugio Perez, Sr. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel.
