Petra DeLuna of Uvalde passed away on October 4, 2011 at Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 84. She was born on April 29, 1927 to Leon and Maria Rodriguez Rodriguez in San Marcos, Texas. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norberto DeLuna sisters, Margarita Segura, Epifania Gutierrez and Guadalupe Trevino brothers, Manuel Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez and Juan Rodriguez. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
