Pedro Vargas of Sabinal passed away on March 24, 2016 in Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. He was born on October 16, 1932 in Villa Nueva, Zacatecas, Mexico to Andres Castanon and Catalina Vargas Castanon. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 3:00 PM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sabinal with burial following in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.
