Patricia Kaye Elizondo

Patricia “Patty” Kaye Elizondo passed away at age 54 peacefully surrounded by her family during her stay at Austin’s Hospice Christopher House in Austin, TX on May 24, 2025 at 8:35am. She was born in Anne Arundel, Maryland to Glenda and Foster Hilsinger on September 25, 1970. She was married to Richard Elizondo on January 2nd, 1989 and resided in Buda, TX.

She studied at Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde , TX. She worked for Texas Mutual Insurance for 20 years. She was a key member of the Community as she was a part of many different groups and associations including Camp Gladiator as well as many of her children’s extracurricular activities including soccer, dance, band, Highsteppers and Girl Scouts.

Patty is preceded in death by her husband Richard, her inlaws Hugo and Bertha Elizondo, her aunt Carolyn, her niece Bobbi Jo Hilsinger, her brother-in-law Joe Elizondo, her father Foster Hilsinger, her sister Linda, and her brother Eugene.

She is survived by her children Richard Lee, Dylan, Gabi, and Izzy Elizondo; her daughter-in-law Ashley Elizondo, her brothers John and Allen Hilsinger, her sister Dorothy, her mother Glenda, her aunt Ava, her grandsons Riley James, Braylen, and Emmett, and her many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held at 2pm on May 31st, 2025 at Rushing-Estes-Knowles in Uvalde, TX.
