Opal Fowler

Opal Fowler of Uvalde passed away on May 18, 2023, at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 93.

She was born on April 23, 1930, in Uvalde to Minnie (Cauldwell) and Charlie Buchanan.

She is survived by her son, Damon Morris of Deer Park; and brother, Loyde S. “Buck” Buchanan and wife, Louise of Uvalde; granddaughter, Tayler Morris; and three great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Fowler; daughter, Sharon Fowler, son, Albert Fowler; two brothers, RA Buchanan, CA Buchanan; and two sisters, Lola Carter and Dorothy Parks.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
