Ofilia Hill

Ofilia J. Hill of Uvalde passed away on December 9, 2020 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age 56.  She was born on November 15, 1964 in Uvalde to Ruben Brady and Gabriela (Juarez) Hill

She is survived by her daughter, Grace Hill and husband, Jesse Smith of Brackettville; sons, Jack Hill and wife, Rebekkah and Eric Hill and wife, Patricia all of Uvalde; sister, Frances Mireles and husband, Frank of Uvalde; brothers, Ruben Hill and wife, Dalia of Kerrville, Duvan Hill and wife, Terry of Austin, Mundo Hill and wife, Carla Fernandez of Uvalde; 6 grandchildren, Tara I. Hill, Shawn A. Hill, Layla I. Hill, Wade W. Hill, Hannah Hill and Brandon Hill; uncles, Rodolfo Hill, Jr. and wife, Pura and Rene B. Hill all of Uvalde; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and granddaughter, Elisa Gabriela Hill.

A rosary will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Uvalde Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jack Hill, Eric Hill, Mundo Hill, Frank Mireles, and Oscar “Tito” Roman.  Jose Duvan Hill, Michael Zamarripa, Blas Anthony Gonzales.

Honorary pallbearers will be Oscar O Roman III, Brandon Hill and Wade W. Hill,
